Klaine!AU Kurt has a big crush on badboy Blaine
“Right now?” Kurt looked incredulously at his friend. He must have misheard her. He must have, because there was absolutely no way that Blaine Anderson – the incredibly handsome Blaine Anderson, the schools badboy – was planning on asking him out.
Despite the conflict going on inside him Rachel nodded enthusiastically. “Yes, he’s on his way right –” Rachel stopped mid-sentence and let out a loud ‘meep’ before turning on her heal and practically running down the hall. Kurt stared after her with a puzzled look on his face. What had all that been about? Then he heard it.
Most people might say that it wasn’t possible to recognize the sound of a shoe, but Kurt disagreed. There was a distinct feeling to every shoe; a light tapping and clicking sound followed every step taken in a Prada heel, a deep groan belonged with most doc martens, and the shoes Kurt was hearing now, they definitely belonged to Blaine Anderson.
“Hey, babe, what’s up?” Blaine asked from behind him. When Kurt first met Blaine, he expected his crude language to annoy and repulse him, but as it turned out, Kurt found himself enjoying it. He turned around and looked at Blaine with raised eyebrows, waiting for him to continue. It was turning out to be a difficult job staying focused, because Blaine was wearing an incredibly tight black t-shirt that left nothing to the imagination and god – those arms.
Kurt’s expression faded quickly of his face to make room for a look of disgust, when the smell of cigarettes wafted off Blaine’s clothes and over to Kurt. “You really shouldn’t smoke, Blaine. It’s bad for you,” said Kurt with a frown. Blaine laughed, and Kurt was pretty sure it was the most colorful sound he had ever heard. “Yeah, I’ve heard,” he replied, raking his eyes up and down Kurt’s body and making him feel incredibly naked.
“Was there something you wanted, Blaine?” asked Kurt when he just couldn’t take his eyes on him anymore. Blaine’s gaze immediately went from Kurt’s … lower regions, to his eyes, and it made Kurt wish they had just stayed on his body. The hazel eyes in front of him seemed to bore their way into the place where he kept his deepest thoughts and feelings, and while the thought scared Kurt senseless, it was also incredibly exhilarating for reasons Kurt couldn’t explain.
That’s why he tried not to look too excited when Blaine nodded, indicating that there was in fact something he wanted. While Kurt’s face might look calm there was a storm brewing inside him. Butterflies were not only fluttering in his stomach, but all his other feelings had joined the mix too, creating a lightning storm of conflicted emotions.
“Would you like to go out with me?” asked Blaine, a smirk playing on his lips. Kurt feigned thinking about it for a moment before letting all the butterflies fly free, and answering that yes, he would very much like to go out on a date with Blaine Anderson, McKinley’s badboy.
